Located in the Gerhard Field House, our climbing wall features 12+ ft. high bouldering walls with multiple angles and innovative setting, a MoonBoard climbing wall, multiple hand cracks, and plenty of training options to improve your climbing. Whether you’re interested in meeting new people, learning to rock climb, or expanding your climbing potential, this place has something for everyone.

The Climbing Wall is open the following hours, when classes are in session. We are not open on the weekends, or over breaks.

FAQs
Who can participate? The climbing wall is open to all students, faculty and staff of Bucknell. No prior experience is necessary!
What gear do I need? Participants only need climbing shoes and chalk to climb, both of which are available for complimentary rent and use during your time at the wall.
I’ve never climbed before! How do I get started? When you visit the climbing wall, our staff will provide an orientation to the space and rock climbing; they’re available to offer help and answer any questions you have! For many guests, this is their first time trying climbing.
